Anyway, I recently made a video for my personal Top 5 Games of the year 2009 (not just made in 2009, played in 2009). Apparently, the guys down at Infinity Ward sat down at a big conference table with a huge pile of money and a lot of ideas, and said, 'Let's make something happen'. The long awaited Left 4 Dead 2 got a demo release this week for gold subscribers, and I gotta say, it was most likely one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had, next to the first time I pwn3d a n00b in Halo PC or fragged that tube noob in CoD4 with his own weapon, of course. Lemme break it down for you:
The demo dosen't have THAT much to go on, but what it has it perfects, and I doubt the rest isn't just as great. The only level you can play is The Parish, or at least part of it, by yourself (bleh, as usual), or with a group of 3 other friends, which is pretty awesome. Here's a breakdown of the new weapons I've seen so far, which is what everyone's been asking around about:

Just kidding. I'm actually just past Micky's level in the new game from Bungie Studios, Halo 3 ODST. And as I can say, it's been pretty solid.
Campaign
As I said, I'm not completely finished with the game, but what I can see looks pretty promising for the rest of the game. As far as gameplay goes, it's par for the course, and, to me at least, the classic single brute plus grunt backup, with the occasional brute chieftan pack and hunter combo thrown in is just as satisfying to me every time.
